ABOUT THE ROLE / PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Supports production by providing effective electrical equipment maintenance and installation while adhering to procedures/codes.
FUNCTIONAL OUTPUTS
- Risk evaluations
- Scheduling of work according to pre-determined needs
- Projects and small modification investigations and management
- Extensive Daily Maintenance and housekeeping
- Effective problem solving and defect reporting
- Maintain a healthy and safe environment

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications :
N3 Electrical or NQF 4 equivalent/Grade 12- Valid Red Ticket (Or in a position to obtain one)
- Valid Trade Test Certificate (Electrician)
- Valid Code B license
- Flameproof certificate ( Wish )

Experience :
- Ability to read electrical drawings and interpret them
- Trouble shooting and fault finding rectification defects
- Planning and execution of tasks
- Operational switching and distribution switching
- 3-4 years’ experience in production environment or on maintenance of production machines
