Currently we are searching for a Junior Accountant for Durban, South Africa.
Responsibilities of this Post:
- Responsible for weekly bank reconciliations as well as other balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assisting with VAT reconciliations and analysis.
- Responsible for monthly income statement reconciliations/analysis.
- Responsible for sundry invoices.
- Responsible for intercompany and interbranch reconciliations.

- Responsible for ad-hoc journal preparation and processing.
- Responsible for ad-hoc and complex transaction processing.
- Responsible for maintaining the fixed asset register.
- Responsible for monthly parts stock counts and parts inventory analysis.
- Responsible for month-on-month account analysis and commentary.
- Assisting in full-year audit processes.
- Assisting with management accounts preparation.

Requirements of this Post:
- Accounting Bachelor's Degree (BCom/BSc).
- Candidates must have three years working experience in a similar finance role/position.
- Good interpersonal skills.
