The purpose of the role is to teach and share your passion for the animation industry with eager young students; helping them grow individually, and ultimately playing a role in their career paths and success in life. This is a challenging but incredibly rewarding experience reserved for only the most incredible people.
We need a person who is patient, understanding, helpful and calm. You should have an engaging personality, be naturally supportive, instil positivity, and be mature enough to give sound advice as a mentor. .You will focus on - Facilitation in accordance with the learning outcomes as set for the 2D/3D animation programme, with a focus on practical application, theoretical frameworks, workflow and technique.
- Mentor students, conduct consultations and facilitate learning opportunities.
- Research relevant content in order to develop learning material and lesson plans.

- Evaluation, moderation, invigilation and assessment of learning.
- Keep accurate records of evidence (e.g. attendance, assessment results).
Requirements
- Minimum NQF 8 in related qualification (BA Honours)
- Assessor and Moderator certification beneficial
- Computer literate with knowledge and proficiency with industry-standard equipment and software including Toonboom, After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop, Maya, unity
- Exhibit a sound understanding of narrative and storyboard practice, as well as concept art
