IT Support Technician - mrpIT at Mr Price Group

Do you have the technical skills to perform onsite hardware, software and peripheral updates and repairs, as well as installations and upgrades in the Mr Price Group? Do you enjoy troubleshooting and repairs of computer systems and peripheral equipment? 

mrpIT is recruiting an IT Support Technician to provide excellent IT support to the Mr Price Group head office.

The minimum requirements are:

• IT Diploma OR MCSE/A+/N+ Certifications

• Valid drivers license and vehicle
• Must be able to do rotational standby

3-5 years IT support experience in:

• Microsoft operating systems (Reloading and troubleshooting)
• Email troubleshooting (Office365 & Exchange systems)
• Microsoft Office products installations and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of software licensing 
• Apple product support 
• Mobile Device Support
• Ability to document IT Support processes
• Knowledge of standard networking protocols

The key responsibilities for this role include:

• Maintain End User environment - both remotely and on site
• Ensure timeous resolution of all Incidents logged via Service Desk 
• Installing software, operating systems and setting up equipment for users
• Ensure that all IT hardware or software problems are resolved with SLA 
• Be proactive and innovative in the End User environment
• Identify trending issues and troubleshoot root causes
• Excellent Customer Service
