Internal Forensic Auditor at Mr Price Group

We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated and passionate Internal/ Forensic auditor to join our audit team. The individual must be professional, pro-active and able to work independently with minimum direct supervision as well as in a team.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Daily management of Group Whistleblower line – Receiving reports, sanitizing and distributing for investigation.

• Compiling statistics, deriving insights and reporting on Group Whistleblower
• Review daily operations dashboards for trends, deriving insights from large volumes of data and identify efficiencies.
• Assist broader Internal Audit team with audits, by providing operational and forensic insights.
• Lead/ Assist in Forensic Investigations, planning, field work and reporting.
• Present findings to management with business minded recommendations.
• Identifying key risks, evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of governance, risk management and controls, analysing root causes, and recommending practical/ business-minded solutions to identified risks;

Job Requirements: 

• • A relevant qualification (B Com, B Compt, BTech or similar)
  • CIA/ CFE or progress towards a certification,
  • 3-4 years experience in retail, finance or audit,
  • Intermediate/ Advanced MS Excel skills and Word skills,
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills,
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills,
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written),
  • Driver's license
