Mr Price Group has a fantastic opportunity for a Creative Head. If you are an experienced designer, out-of-the-box thinker, have a love for fashion and want to be part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, this role may be for you.

Provide support and coaching to team of designers, at both an individual and team level, to optimize learning and development

  • Liaise with the merchant team by providing insights and recommendations on the upcoming season with a seasonal creative marketing strategy that is aligned to the mrp brand strategy. 
  • Contribute to the marketing plan ensuring creative and brand are working together to create relevant marketing content for each season

 

Creative Conceptualization 

  • Initiate the creative process post brief and coordinate brainstorming sessions to ensure that it is aligned with the marketing strategy and the creative is true to the brand with a consistent look and feel.  
  • Build and share a deep understanding of the brand, sub brand and fashion retail to ensure our brand positioning is met and stays consistent.   
  • Generate new ideas and inspiration relevant to the brand to ensure that we are constantly thinking of new ways to push the brand and support the business. 

 

Design Execution 

  • Working with brand and traffic managers to understand briefs and timelines
  • Develop rough sketches and create the SCAMP(draft) to present to the brand team to ensure that all marketing needs are met before photo shoots take place.  
  • Creating final layouts and presenting to marketing and brand teams to ensure marketing objectives have been met

Job Requirements:

  • 5 - 7 years’ experience as a Senior Designer (preferably from an advertising agency)
  • Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design
  • Strong Social Media experience 
  • Ability to own the creative marketing process
  • Provide team leadership and creative direction to designers
  • Integrity, energy and creativity
  • Self-discipline with excellent attention to detail
