The Fitter at Nestle will install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair all engineering equipment in first class working condition. Ensure efficient safe operation of machinery and devices within allowed tolerances to ensure product quality and safety.
A day in the life of...
- Carry out the planned maintenance required on plant.
- Install, service, repair and maintain existing and new equipment.
- Follow up and recommend actions to overcome and improve problems encountered.
- Attend to mechanical faults and breakdowns in all areas of the factory and maintain high standard of work.
- Analyzing and investigating on re-current faults.

- Improve on functional ease of maintenance, cleaning, reliability of equipment
- Repairs must be carried out quickly (first time right) and efficiently.
- Maintain high standard of work.
- Ensure machine availability for production targets to be met.
- Carry out visual inspections and sign the appropriate legal registers as per OHS Act
What will make you successful
- At least N3 Certificate.
- Served Apprenticeship and qualified with a Trade Test Certificate.
- A minimum of two years experience in Mechanical field.
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills.
- In depth knowledge of maintenance practices.
- Experience in Industrial services
