• This role will be within the Engineering business unit and you will leverage the full breadth of RMB Engineering’s resources and expertise to drive strategic objectives and deliver transformative outcomes. Lead end-to-end architecture design, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with business objectives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into actionable technical strategies
•  To design and implement technology solutions that align with business requirements, ensuring stability, scalability, and security within the organisation's IT ecosystem. 
• Focus on analysing business needs, defining architectural frameworks, and collaborating with development teams to integrate technology effectively. 
• Advise on system design, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles.

Are you someone who can:

• Design, develop, and document IT solutions that align with business requirements to enhance operational efficiency and technological innovation.
• Analyse existing systems and infrastructure to identify optimisation opportunities that improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance resilience.
• Collaborate with software development teams to ensure architectural consistency and adherence to best practices in system design and integration.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations to enhance system capabilities and maintain competitive advantage.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance frameworks, security policies, and regulatory requirements to mitigate operational risks.
• Develop technical specifications and system models to guide development teams in the effective implementation of IT solutions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve complex issues related to system architecture and integration.
• Participate in solution testing and validation processes to ensure system reliability and effectiveness before deployment.
• Assist in the establishment of architectural standards and best practices to drive consistency and quality in solution design.
• Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand evolving business needs and translate them into technology solutions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending enhancements to architecture frameworks.
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance team capability and organisational learning.
• Engage in a high-performance culture by actively contributing to solution innovation and continuous improvement efforts.
• Demonstrate leadership by driving collaboration and fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and teamwork.
• Uphold an innovative mindset by staying abreast of industry trends and proactively introducing improvements to existing solutions.

You will be an ideal candidate if you 

• Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• TOGAF or relevant IT architecture certification.
• Previous experience in a Solutions Architect role
• Have a strong understanding of software development principles and system integration methodologies.
• Have proficiency in cloud computing platforms, database management, and enterprise system architectures.
• Have experience with IT governance frameworks and cybersecurity best practices.
