Purpose of Position:
- To perform routine and stat analyses of samples and maintain analysers/instruments in a clinical laboratory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Switchboard functions in order to correctly refer client requests,
- Assist with training client service employees to ensure competence,
- Implement safety and emergency procedures to ensure safe/continuous working conditions.,
- Maintain good client relations to promote the professional image of Ampath.,
- Maintain provider and route dictionaries.,
- Perform departmental administrative tasks.

Requirements:
- Bachelor of Health Sciences Medical Laboratory Science, HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field
Required Experience:
Experience in pathology laboratory environment,
Knowledge:
- Ampath QC procedures,
- Instrumentation and Methodologies,
- Meditech system,
- MS Windows,
- Relevant pathology test procedures,
- Knowledge of Ampath Safety, Health and Environment management policy
