The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining all Health & Safety and Food Safety obligations, regulations, and procedures in compliance with legal standards. Additionally, they will oversee staff training in these areas and manage human resource functions for scheduled employees, including monitoring time and attendance and processing monthly salaries.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Updating, implementing, and complying with all Food Safety, and Health & Safety requirements, policies and procedures
- Training of employees in Food Safety, and Health & Safety
- Implementing and maintaining FSSC2200, HACCP, and other relevant Food Safety Standards & Systems
- Implementing and maintaining PRP, OPRP, and GMP programs
- Monthly reports
- Calibration of thermometers, scales and mass pieces
- Manage & supervise Pest Control Services
- Testing for Listeria and SANS241
- HR functions for scheduled employees, including time and attendance and monthly salary capturing

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Minimum of 3 years' working experience in FMCG
- Food Safety Management Systems Qualification
- PRP's & GMP's Qualification
- HACCP Qualification
- Introduction to Health & Safety courses
- Introduction to Food Safety courses
- Good written & verbal communication skills
- Computer literate, especially Excel
- Reliable and responsible with a strong sense of integrity.
- Trustworthy
