Who we’re looking for

We want a journalist who’ll use AI to push the boundaries of multimedia storytelling. You are…

  • A digital native: skilled at working with different types of media, but especially video content.
  • Digitally dexterous: you embrace different types of tech and how it can enhance storytelling. You’re constantly exploring and trying new multimedia creation and editing tools, especially AI ones.
  • Curious and clued-in: you want to know about the world you live in, who your audience is and how you can best serve them. You make it your business to find out more about them.
  • Agile and a speed junkie: you can produce great work within tight deadlines, can cope with pressure and you can juggle multiple projects (in fact, you thrive on the thrill of tight deadlines!).
  • A collaborative spirit: you love working in a team, especially one that has diverse skills, talents and backgrounds.

What we need from you

  • At least two years’ experience working in dynamic environments like a newsroom or content creation hub with a proven track record of video content creation.
  • A journalism or media-related degree or diploma.

What we’d love you to also have…

  • Experience in coding – or if not, the willingness to learn (it will be a requirement to learn how to code if you don’t have any experience).
  • A portfolio of multimedia work.
