Overview:

A holistic branding and communication agency is in search of an Account Executive to join their decades-strong business in Durban. The company focuses on uncovering and articulating the core beliefs and principles that define brands, enabling them to communicate authentically and meaningfully in a rapidly changing world.

The purpose of this role is to support the Senior Account Manager as a liaison between the client and the agency team, ensuring efficient project management and delivery of high-quality work that aligns with the client’s brand strategy and objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Assist the Senior Account Manager with all administrative duties, including scheduling meetings (virtual and in-person), organising presentations, and managing client documents.

  • Client Communication: Serve as a secondary point of contact for clients, addressing routine inquiries and relaying them to the Senior Account Manager or creative teams promptly. Seamlessly communicate across both remote and on-site teams to ensure clarity and alignment.
  • Assist with Clarification: Take the initiative to ensure clarity between various stakeholders, if this is a concern, arrange an alignment workshop internally with a team or with the client if necessary, especially on bigger or seasonal campaigns.
  • Project Coordination: Help manage timelines, track deliverables, and ensure all deadlines are met. Maintain records of progress for both in-office and remote teams.
  • Shoots Assistance: Assist with creating the shoot cost estimates, arrange any details/requirements with clients, and attend and assist on shoots.
  • Task Management: Help the Account Manager keep track of tasks across different projects, ensuring that each item is completed within the set timeline.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines
