Artisan: Network Cabling Artisan X3 - SARS

Job Purpose

• To maintain Regional Corporate Real Estate (CRE) buildings/infrastructure by ensuring that all day-to-day operational facilities objectives are working efficiently and effectively.
• Execute the preventative and reactive maintenance programs for all assets and provide support in all building related services. Execute work in multiple sites; monitor and quality assure all external service providers and ensure compliance

Job Outputs:

Process

• Ensure that all stock is accounted for and that efficient systems are in place to ensure 100 percentage stock accuracy.
• Check and ensure that all equipment is functioning correctly and notify all affected parties immediately of all faults found.
• Conduct regulatory compliance inspections to identify non-compliance and risks.

• Utilise allocated resources to ensure effective and efficient performance and achievement of results.
• Ensure proper asset management in area of accountability.
• Build and maintain relationships, as well as interact with all relevant stakeholders, including different business areas and government stakeholders.
• Perform general handwork and routine maintenance to agreed quality standards.
• Ensure quality of work content, quick turnaround, prioritise, minimise mistakes and continuously improve quality, service and standards.
• Execute preventative and reactive maintenance programs for all assets and provide support in all building-related services.
• Contribute to the development & improvement of area-specific standards, procedures and processes to ensure continued quality and service improvement.
• Contribute to the successful implementation of change initiatives by providing support in the area of work.
• Deliver on contracted performance objectives and escalate unresolved delivery and quality issues to management and process owners.
• Draw on your own knowledge and experience to identify and develop solutions that lead to improved service delivery and quality.
• Effectively plan and schedule own activities to continuously improve quality and service delivery in the area of work.
• Report on transactional and process activities within set guidelines to provide timely information for decision-making.
• Communication of transactional outputs and queries in the area of work according to policies and quality requirements.

Education and Experience

Minimum Qualification & Experience Required

• Senior Certificate (NQF4) And 3 years related experience in network cabling with certification in CompTIA Network+ & Molex.
