Job Description
- Responsible for the overall management the logistics department’s financial function, as well as act as a business partner.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Initiate and monitor the implementation of strategic action plans;
- Identify and develop new business opportunities;
- Analyzing and reporting on management accounts on a monthly basis to management
- Ensure annual budget is compiled and signed-off by the agreed deadline;
- Ensure monthly reports are done and submitted on time;
- Keeping the asset register up to date and issuing capex applications
- Ensure compliance to systems, processes and controls;
- Manage debtors/creditors, cash flow, accounting processes and tax processes;
- Month end reports and calculations
- Perform ad hoc administration;
- Continuous liaising with internal departments, clients and suppliers with regards to relevant transactions and services
- Establish and manage relationships with key stakeholders;
- Employee management;
- Act as business partner.

Requirements
- BCom Accounting degree and completed articles.
- Applicable experience in a fast-moving environment
- Experience in Logistics / Transport industry or imilar position will be advantageous
- Strong analytical, numeracy and interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to work with excel on an advanced level
- Appointment subject to relevant verifications
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
