Are you ready to join a dynamic HR team and make an impact? We’re looking for an organized and detail-oriented HR Administrator to manage our Employee Self Service (ESS) platform and provide critical administrative support to the HR Manager, Employee Relations Officer, and Industrial Relations Officer. This role supports three companies and offers an exciting opportunity for growth in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment.

Please note that only candidates currently residing in Cape Town will be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

Employee Self Service (ESS) Control:

  • Oversee timekeeping and attendance, ensuring leave workflows are processed correctly
  • Manage probation and performance review administration, scheduling meetings and tracking documentation
  • Monitor poor attendance and work with the IR Officer to address any concerns

HR Administration:

  • Maintain HR budget records, prepare letters and minutes, and ensure key employee dates are recognized
  • Assist with day-to-day HR functions and duties
  • Provide administration support to the HR Manager and HR Officers
  • Assist with HR filing, staff queries, and report creation
  • Support training record maintenance for compliance and BBBEE audits
  • Assist with transformation and BBBEE initiatives

Essential Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in Admin, Systems, or Data Capturing (preferably in HR or Finance)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, with advanced Excel skills
  • Familiarity with an ESS platform (advantageous)
  • Experience in preparing reports (highly advantageous)
  • Experience/knowledge of PowerBI (advantageous)
  • Strong numeric and data interpretation skills
