Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity in our Manufacturing department. We are looking for talented individuals with relevant skills and experience for an In-Service Quality Assurance, at Midrand CCBSA. The successful candidate will report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

KEY OUTPUT

To conduct quality tests, to compile reports and to communicate out of line specifications so that the quality of the product and package are maintained in line with Company standards, cost are minimized and records are available for audit purposes.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Grade 12 with Mathematics & Physical Science passed with40% (NOT Mathematics Literacy)
  • Two South African Languages passed with 40%
  • Studying towards Microbiology, Biotechnology,Food Technology or related qualification
  • Completed theoretical modules and require practical exposure to complete the qualification
  • Willing to complete In-Service/ Experiential Training in Industry
  • Must not have previously completed an In-Service Trainee programme at another company or organization

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a South African Citizen
  • Must be an Employment Equity candidate
  • Must have been unemployed at the time of appointment
  • Must be between 18-35 years of age
  • Candidate must have a letter from the institution requesting workplace experience for in order for the candidate to complete their qualification.

KNOWLEDGE

An understanding of microbiology, chemistry, biochemistry, physics and mathematics related to the food industry, laboratory policy and practices.
