Senwes Equipment is looking for a Driver, responsible for the safe and efficient transfer of stock and equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB
Loading & Unloading:
- Pack, load, and unload parcels onto trucks according to specifications.
- Manage a general worker to assist with these tasks.
- Ensure accurate unloading as per client specifications.
- Obtain delivery confirmations from each store and complete necessary administrative documents.
Safe Transportation:
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to predetermined branches.
- Review routes and parcels before delivery for efficiency.
Vehicle Maintenance:
- Conduct pre-departure inspections of the vehicle.
- Ensure all maintenance on vehicles and trailers is up to standard.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding vehicle operation.
Customer Satisfaction:
- Provide exceptional customer service to our stores.
General Duties:
- Assist with any ad-hoc duties related to driving functions as requested.
- National Senior Certificate
- Valid Driver’s Licence (Code 10)
- At least 5 years of relevant driving experience
Knowledge & Skills:
- General knowledge of vehicle maintenance and road safety
- Excellent time management skills
- Safety-oriented mindset
