Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain control of plant equipment
  • Install and commission control plant equipment
  • Diagnose faults and repair control plant equipment
  • Lead work execution
  • Perform investigations
  • Ensure monitoring and coaching
  • Adhere to safety; health; environment; quality and security (SHEQS) requirements

Minimum Requirements

Qualification(s):

  • National Diploma Electrical or National N Diploma Technical Engineering at NQF6 with 240 credits

Experience:

  • 3 years of technical experience in Power Generation, Transmission or Distribution.

  • Understanding control plant technologies, standards, procedure and philosophies Operating Regulations for High Voltage Systems (ORHVS)
  • Authorisation on Low Voltage Operating Regulations (LVOR) and Outcome 3 responsible person
  • Fault finding, investigation
  • Control plant-specific work execution
  • Accredited level 2 or intermediate for control plant-specific maintenance discipline

Skill

  • Computer literate
  • Administration
  • Valid code 08 driver’s licence
