General Worker Intake - Premier

Job Description

Will be responsible for offloading the trucks and taking of samples from the trucks, truck inspections and testing of lab samples as well as housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Offloading the trucks and taking of samples from the trucks
• Truck Inspections
• Testing and taking the sample to the Lab
• Cleaning of Intake offloading area, clearing of chokes and Overflowing bins
• Cleaning of Intake machines and Housekeeping
• Assisting on the Repairing and maintaining of the Intake machines
• To ensure compliance with relevant Food Safety and Health Safety

Responsibility and ability to:

• Operate and use required tools and equipment skilfully and safely.
• Perform heavy physical labour.
• Read, comprehend, and work from plans and SOP’s.
• Maintain cooperative working relationships.
• Demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse population.
• Function in a team
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Work under pressure and independently

Qualification Requirements

• Grade 12 Essential

Experience Requirements

• 2-3 years experience in relevant trade
• Exposure and Mill knowledge will be an added advantage\

Other Requirements

• Required to work in hot and cold extreme weather conditions.
• 5-day position and may be required to work overtime and unusual working hours (after hours) from time to time.
