Job Description: Responsibilities & Requirements


Job Summary:

The Corporate Security Leveraged position is responsible for ensuring the security of the company's products throughout their entire lifecycle, from conception to deployment and beyond. This role involves working closely with various departments to integrate security measures into every phase of product development and corporate operations.

The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of both product and corporate security, excellent leadership skills, and a proactive approach to risk management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement security strategies that cover all stages of the product lifecycle and corporate operations.
  • Conduct comprehensive security assessments and threat modeling to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with product development and corporate teams to integrate security best practices into design, development, and operational processes.
  • Oversee security testing, including penetration testing and code reviews, to ensure the security of products and corporate systems.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents related to products and corporate infrastructure, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Stay informed about the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to continuously enhance security measures.
  • Provide training and guidance to development and corporate teams on secure practices and security awareness.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security standards, regulations, and corporate policies.

  • Ensure implementation and maintenance of security documentation, including policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of security vendors, fostering a culture of security within the organization.
  • Maintain the global anti-counterfeiting strategy mainly in AME as set by Regional Security Manager.
  • Coordinate investigative efforts with Private Investigative Groups, Local Law Enforcement, and Corporate Attorneys
  • Promote Product Security awareness of IP matters, including training and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with regional/local business leaders, cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment around business objectives, brand protection risks and strategies, and project priorities within the Region.
  • Monitors local Corp Security work process metrics / measurements and output to drive improvements.
  • Crisis management system support, responsible for providing functional and business knowledge and expertise to the Corteva Crisis Management Teams and assistance in implementing the Crisis Management Plan as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree. Preferred in fields such as Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related discipline.
  • Collaborate effectively with diverse cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Experience with security assessment tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated independent thinker.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities.

Educational Background

  • Advanced Degrees: A master's degree can be advantageous but is not always required

Experience

Work Experience: Generally, a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in corporate security management or a related field.

Law Enforcement/Military Experience: Experience in law enforcement or the military can be beneficial.
