Housekeeping and Laundry Attendant - Laudromat

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our clients establishment by ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of their facilities. The responsibilities include handling laundry tasks such as washing, drying, ironing, and minor repairs, as well as performing comprehensive housekeeping duties to maintain the overall hygiene and presentation of the premises.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Laundry:

• Maintain inventory records of laundry items.
• Follow laundry care labels and check for stains or damage.
• Report and treat laundry stains or damage.
• Handle laundry with care, performing minor sewing duties if required.
• Sort laundry by classification and colour.
• Operate laundry machines and maintain them properly.
• Keep the laundry area clean and orderly.
• Monitor and report supply needs to management.

Housekeeping:

• Complete housekeeping tasks within the stipulated time.
• Follow the housekeeping checklist.
• Perform initial and final room checks.
• Report missing items or damages.
• Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and all room surfaces.
• Replace linens, towels, and amenities.
• Clean windows, vacuum upholstery, and mop floors.
• Report repairs and assist in cost control and inventory management.
  
  

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Own cell phone and reliable transport.
• Prior hospitality experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 10 kg unaided.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Punctual, responsible, and trustworthy.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent multitasking, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Friendly, professional, and service-oriented.
• Flexible work hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Availability to work on Sundays if required.
• Between 0 & 1 Year
