Alstom Rolling Stock South Africa (Pty) Ltd is looking for an Intern - Supply Chain for our Traxx Africa project based in Durban.

THE PURPOSE OF THE INTERN SUPPLY CHAIN ROLE IS TO:

As an Intern, you will assist the function you are placed with and perform basic ad-hoc tasks to assist the team but also to fulfil your Work Integrated Learning requirements to obtain your qualification.

Currently, we are looking for an Intern to be placed with our Supply Chain team as well as our Production Team.

THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITY WILL BE:

  • Support with basic ad-hoc tasks the team might require
  • Complete and fulfil the requirements of your Work Integrated Learning
  • Ensure compliance with all environmental, health and safety rules and regulations at all times
  • Ensure compliance with all ethics and compliance regulations

The preferred candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Required to obtain Work Integrated Learning as part of obtaining your Degree qualification.
  • Industrial Engineering and supply Chain students will be considered.
  • Computer literate
  • Sound communication in English
  • Willing to work in an industrial engineering environment
