Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity in our Manufacturing department. We are looking for talented individuals with relevant skills and experience for an In-Service Engineering, at our various regions Lakeside in CCBSA. The successful candidate will report directly to the Plant Manager.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
KEY OUTPUT
- To maintain (inspect and adjust) and repair equipment proactively as per maintenance targets in order to continually improve department efficiency, to optimize equipment availability and to minimize losses and risk.
KNOWLEDGE
- An understanding of electrical, mechanical, physics and mathematics related to the engineering industry and practices.
SKILLS
- Thrive in a fast-paced, pressurised and competitive environment
- The ability to apply theoretical scientific principles in the development of novel business solutions
- Well developed decision-making skills
- Identify and apply new trends

Skills, Experience & Education
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- Grade 12 with Mathematics & Physical Science passed with 40% (NOT Mathematics Literacy)
- Two South African Languages passed with 40%
- Studying towards National Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or a related qualification
- Completed theoretical modules and require practical exposure to complete the qualification
- Willing to complete In-Service/ Experiential Training in Industry
- Must not have previously completed an In-Service Trainee programme at another company or organization
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Must be an Employment Equity candidate
- Must have been unemployed at the time of appointment
- Must be between 18-35 years of age
- Candidate must have a letter from the institution requesting workplace experience for for the candidate to complete their qualification.
- The In-Service Trainee programme runs over 12 months.
