Servest Security and Technology, a business unit of Servest has vacancies for technicians based in Sasolburg. Must be PSIRA grade b registered with a minimum of 2 years experience in access control, intruder alarm systems and CCTV.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Any type of intruder detection systems
- Stand-alone electric fencing
- Physical and electrical vehicle access control systems (Boom and gate motors)
- Traffic and pedestrian control systems
- IP-based surveillance systems
- Alarm and Video monitoring systems
- Control Room setup and maintenance
- General IT
- Watch manager and Avigilon system platform knowledge will be an advantage
Minimum Requirements
- PSIRA Grade B
- Grade 12
- Minimum of 2 years experience
- Relevant Qualification
- Access Control System
- CCTV Systems
- Intruder Alarm Systems
- Must be willing to work standby and overtime when required
- Sober habits
- Must be prepared to work underground
- Bi-Lingual
- Must be able to work in a team format
- Computer literate
- Drivers Licence (Valid for at least 2 years)
- Must be medically able and fit to perform physical work

Skills
- Must be able to use basic hand tools
- Certified fence installer will be an advantage
- Knowledge of AJAX and Videofied systems will be an advantage
