Job Description: Responsibilities & Requirements
A well-established Private Game Reserve in the Western Cape requires a qualified and experienced Security Officer.
Key Performance Areas:
Safety and Security
- Report for duty on time and as per roster in a presentable manner
- Approach guests’ at the entrance with a friendly, professional, helpful and polite manner
- Execute order from superior with efficiency
- Report any wrongdoing during your shift
- Ensure all doors are locked during the night shift
- Patrol around all buildings and vehicles
- Secure the main entrance by locking the gate
- Report injured animals to reserve management
- Report maintenance issues that need attention to management
- Handle any security-related information as confidential
- Capture patrol updates in the APSEC Occurrence Book
Adhoc
- To perform any other associated and reasonable task that may be required from management from time to time
