Purpose of the role
- To assist in the development and execution of marketing cycle plans supporting the annual business plan for a category of brands with the overall aim of achieving brand objectives. To provide operational support as well as actionable data analysis to the Category Manager.
- Create customer marketing plans together with Sales using data from the market
- Financial Tracking and reporting, analyse and report the category direction in order to activate actions for recommended strategies
- Manage competition updates through market research and analysis, follow up reporting and product cycle planning
- Work with sales on visibility support in key accounts, and plan ranging of products by distribution points and channels
- Provide support for developing and execution of yearly marketing calendars in line with business objectives
- Develop promotions and new product launches based on business objectives, while coordinating and ensuring optimal results
- Monitor brand & category performance through an in depth analysis of retail audits and brand trackers to provide actionable solutions
- Take ownership and direct responsibility of business marketing activities – Planning & executing campaign roll-outs
- Customer community management
- Highly Accurate file for Sales / Supply chain and Internet website

Requirements
Profile
The successful candidate should have the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree desired
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Retail Marketing / Category / Product position
- Experience in working directly with internal and external customers and providers
- At ease with figures and market trends and analytics, able to get results and put in place an action plan
- Good presentation, interpersonal and communication skills, able to influence and adapt to different stakeholder, internally and externally
- Demonstrate competencies in collaboration, customer focus, communication and achieving results in alignment with business goals
- Energetic, creative, thinking-out-of-the-box
- Experience in brand, online/digital marketing
