Feedem Group Chef Apprenticeship Programme

Feedem Group (Pty) Ltd has 16 vacancies for unemployed persons between the ages of 18 and 35 wanting to enrol on a 3-year NQF 5 Occupational Certificate : Chef qualification learning programme in Cape Town.

The learning programme offers theoretical learning and workplace experiential learning over the 3-year period. The qualification has a trade test which is completed near the end of the three years.

The Occupational Certificate :

Chef qualification has been developed by professionals in the hospitality and catering industry.

You will learn everything you need to take on a leadership role in the kitchen, as it covers all the major theoretical, practical and workplace components of the kitchen operation and food preparation.

The program also encourages students to develop appropriate and effective leadership responses to strategic opportunities and challenges which, in turn, will give them a competitive edge in a rapidly expanding marketplace.

Ideal candidates must have an inextinguishable passion for food, the ability to work hard, willingness to learn and an eye for detail.

Successful applicants will earn a stipend of R3500 per month over the 3-year period to support their learning endeavour.
