IT Technician - TWK Agri

TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: IT Technician within the IT Department at Piet Retief, Mpumalanga.

Our ideal candidate has an in-depth knowledge of computer software and hardware and a hands-on experience with a different variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network operating systems and be familiar with all hardware and software and with network operating system
• Provide recommendations about accessing information and support
• Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources
• Make recommendations about the purchase of technology resources, research current and potential resources and services
• Provide network accounts and passwords as required
• Install hardware and software systems
• Technical experience in installing and configuring camera solutions.
• Offer technical support on-site or via phone or email to personnel who experience problems with hardware/software
• Perform general maintenance tasks, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems and peripheral equipment to keep equipment functioning properly.
• Perform general maintenance tasks, troubleshoot, and repair Printer systems to keep equipment functioning properly.
• Ensure that all computers are secured effectively by installing and updating antivirus software
• Escalate problems and issues to a higher level of support, this includes services that exceed response time, repair time, lack of parts, or any other issues to provide excellent customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills

• Matric / Grade 12
• A+ certificate
• N+ certificate
• Valid code B driver's licence
• Valid Passport
• 2 years experience minimum
• Windows troubleshooting
• Printer Troubleshooting
• Network installations
• Desktop/Laptop hardware and software troubleshooting
• Must be able to interact with people
• Must be able to comply with deadlines
