Purpose Statement
- To conduct independent audits of the effectiveness of the policies, procedures and standards by which the Bank’s financial, physical and information resources are manage
- To ensure the requirements of the Internal Audit Charter and the business are met and are in line with the International Internal Audit Standards.

Experience
Min:
- Minimum of 3-5 years in a risk based auditing environment, including experience in:
- Data Analytics and Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATS)
- Business Process Reviews
Ideal:
- Experience in the utilisation of ACL, IDEA or TeamMate Analytics tool
- Experience in Application Control Reviews
Qualifications (Minimum)
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
- A relevant qualification in Internal Auditing
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
- Certified Internal Auditor

Knowledge
Min:
Knowledge of:
- GAAP and GAAS
- Proficiency in accounting principles and techniques in working with financial reports
- Business products, processes, policies and systems
- Internal Auditing procedures and standards
- Management principles to recognise and evaluate the materiality and significance of deviations from good business practice
- The fundamentals of accounting, economics, commercial law, taxation, finance, quantitative methods and information technology
