Capitec Bank is currently recruiting for a Team Leader for the Credit Pricing division. The purpose of this role is to;
- Drive and execute the Capitec credit pricing strategy
- Ensure that the credit pricing model for existing products and channels is optimised
- Develop pricing solutions for new credit products and channels

Qualifications (Essential)
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or Statistics
- Higher Diploma in Mathematical Sciences
Knowledge
Min:
- Knowledge and understanding of:
- Pricing for credit / insurance products
- Capital requirements
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Advanced statistical analysis
- Advanced financial mathematics

- Knowledge and understanding of:
- Capitec Bank strategic objectives
- Capitec Bank operating environment
- Big data and data mining techniques
Leadership / management models
Experience
Min:
- 5 years’ experience in analytical roles that included exposure to pricing and forecasting and interaction with senior management
- Proven experience in:
- Building pricing models from first principles that charge a price (interest and fees / medical aid contribution / insurance premium) for an unknown future event (bad debt / hospitalisation / insurance claim) in order to deliver a required profit / return margin.
Ideal:
- 2 years’ experience in a leadership role that included managing a team of analysts
- Capitec Bank experience
- Regular exposure to senior management or members of the Executive Committee
