Applications are invited for the above vacancy that exists within the supply chain division based in gauteng.The successful candidate will report to the team leader, technical customer service.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
- Be the expert in the field with direct customer interaction (also covering ECPH)
- Customer product claim handling
- Be the link to other teams in the field (e.g. Sales, Quality, Supply Chain)
- Follow the HSE principles for field engineering
PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Technical support to external and internal customers - direct, via e-mail and telephone (also covering ECPH).
- Educate and transfer technical competence. Follow the HSE principles and lead by example.
- Drive claim reporting to management.
- Manage the PDC / BI Process (Field data collection).
- Composing and issuing of reject letters and reclaim/reinspection answers.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- 3 years experience in Automotive or Tire industry.
- Direct customer facing/communication
- Tire/vehicle knowledge
- Product Manufacturing
- IT software skills: MS Office, SAP
- Language skills: fluent and written in local plus at least English
EDUCATION:
- Matric Certificate, (Bachelor (3 years) or Technician diploma advantageous).
