The role involves daily picking of goods for sales orders, packing goods in the warehouse as well as general upkeep of the warehouse. The requirement to attend stock take.
Responsibilities:
- Picking, scanning and packing of stock – sales orders/stock requests
- Loading and unloading of goods
- Follow company procedures
- Assist in cleaning, and sorting warehouse shelves
- Attendance of stock take
- Clear criminal record
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse preferred
- Experience working with an RF scanner preferred
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Ability to stay on feet for long periods of time; positive attitude
- Self-motivated
- Active
- Safety conscious
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team but be self-motivated and independent at times.
