Job description:
Back office Personal assistant for Life, Investments and medical.
Responsibilities:
- Answering/redirecting all incoming calls and taking messages
- Arrange appointments with client or prospects on behalf of the Adviser
- Prepare prospective client files as needed
- General office management assistance
- Receive, direct and relay messages via phone/email
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- General administration
- Handling of claims administration
- Receiving, distributing, and processing all incoming and outgoing mail

Skill sets required:
- Grade 12
- Computer literate (MS Office – Excel, Word and Outlook)
- 1-2 years experience as a receptionist and personal assistant
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Must be punctual
- Client services and good telephone etiquette
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent organisational skills
- Experience in short-term insurance (negotiable)
- Own vehicle (negotiable)
