Duties and responsibilities:

  • Overall administration in academic environment.
  • Administration of ad hoc claims.
  • Student registrations (Senior and FET phases +PGCE).
  • Processing of marks (Senior and FET phases + PGCE).
  • Academic advice to prospective and current Senior and FET phases + PGCE education students.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation for the programme coordinators.
  • Any other responsibilities delegated by the Assistant Dean.

Inherent Job requirements:

  • Grade 12 or National Certificate on NQF level 4.
  • A minimum of one (1) year’s relevant working experience related to the duties and responsibilities.

Recommendation:

  • A Bachelor ‘s degree on NQF level 7 or a three (3) year National Diploma on NQF level 6.
  • Knowledge and experience in UFS system, guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Understanding and ability to manage relationships with staff and leadership within the faculty.

Assumption of duties:

01 August 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Salary:

The annual remuneration package, including benefits, is R 211 391.43 – R 354 408.50 per annum, depending on the budget available for the position, relevant work experience and qualifications.
