The Stock Controller is responsible for ensuring the store is correctly stocked and that all stock movement within the store is properly controlled in order to ensure a brilliant customer experience.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Overseeing the movements of all stock in and out of the warehouse.
  • Ensuring the storeroom stock levels are always correct.
  • Receiving all stock accurately and GRN’d efficiently into the system.
  • Ensuring that all stock leaving the store follows the correct process and is signed off.
  • Oversee the picking and packing of stock for dispatch notes.
  • Investigating any variances in stock, identifying root causes, and providing solutions.
  • Ensuring the storeroom is kept neat and tidy.
  • Pulling stock for use on the retail floor.

The experience we’re looking for:

  • Retail experience or experience in a related role is an advantage.
  • Relevant tertiary education is an advantage.
  • Computer literate; MS Excel, MS Word experience.
  • Great organisational skills are essential.
  • Strong Attention to detail.
  • Is fluent in spoken and written English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Is organised, systematic, work to a plan and gets “stuck in” to get the job done on time.
  • Prides themselves on their attention to detail.
  • Meticulous about ensuring all admin is up to date, completely accurate and under control.

  • Someone who can work well within a team and holds everyone accountable to their commitments.
  • Uses their initiative, has their finger on the pulse, is proactive in all that is required.
  • Is fluent in spoken and written English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
