Position Purpose:

  • To plan, coordinate, maintain and enhance projects that take place within Group Corporate Affairs. These projects will include the management of Group Corporate Affairs and Corporate Centre activities. The role supports internal communication.

Position outputs:

  • Provide support to internal communications and stakeholder relations managers.
  • Collate content for the Corporate Centre newsletter
  • Develop and manage programmes and projects in the department to ensure that they are completed in time.
  • Prepare briefs for internal campaigns and activations in line with the internal communication plan and budget requirements.
  • Manage successful implementation of briefs with external service providers.
  • Prepare a dashboard on internal activities.
  • Coordinate Corporate Centre business units’ activities to ensure consistent messages and brand image, in line with the Corporate Identity.
  • Coordinate all administration and logistics for Corporate Centre internal communication activities.
  • Manage, collate and develop integrated plans for internal campaigns.
  • Manage and support Corporate Centre ad hoc initiatives.
  • Coordinate video recordings with staff in line with the communication plan.
  • Support the development of internal communication plans and strategy.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Arts/Public Relations/Corporate Communication/ BA in Communication.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in a communications role
  • Proven record of event and marketing management
  • Proven record of creative experience in creating event/campaigns concepts and designs
  • Experience in delivering projects on time and on budget without close supervision through service-level agreements

Standard Job Requirements

  • Driver’s license code 08
  • Travel as required and approved
