The College is the largest educational institution in the Mpumalanga Province, serving the community in the Nkangala region. CN Mahlangu and Waterval Boven are the predominately rural.

The Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority (INSETA) invites all Nkangala TVET College Business students who have never participated in an internship programme before.
