Cleaner - Edustaff

Our client requires a cleaner to work in their self-catering apartments. The apartments are based in Jackal Creek Golf Estate and Savannah Apartments

Responsibilities

• Cleaning after guests who have used the apartment.
• Sweeping, dusting, mopping
• Changing of bedding
• Cleaning of all linen and towels
• Washing of and drying of dishes
• Stock take and requesting re-fill of cleaning products
• Deep cleaning/stain removal as necessary
• Ensuring all units are fully stocked and any breakages/damages are reported to the owner timeously
  
  

Requirements

• Good attention to detail
• SA citizens or foreign nationals with valid work permits can apply
• At minimum a matric/school leaving certificate
• Pride in the quality of work produced
  Good communication skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Someone who uses initiative and will ask questions as necessary to ensure good quality customer service
• Contactable references

Remuneration

• Days worked will be claimed for and paid at the end of every month
• The client will commit to a minimum of 20 days of paid work days a month
• Transport in-between units eg taxi fare will be paid over to the cleaner. Transport to and from work cleaner's responsibility
• Weekends are the busiest times so the candidate must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays as needed
  
  

Leave

Prospective employee agrees to take leave in accordance with the business needs. As the client is in hospitality leave MAY NOT be taken during December. Leave will be taken during the quiet months of January and/or February only.
