BDO South Africa has a vacancy for a Driver within the Shared Services Department in its Cape Town office.

The Driver will perform various administrative tasks and support our office’s daily activities. The incumbent must be willing to learn and impact the business positively.

Responsibilities:

Vehicle / Driving:

  • Ensure vehicle is checked in accordance with requirements (car licence, services, washing)
  • Report all refects timeously
  • Ensure driving on prescribed routes
  • Ensure driving in accordance with statutory laws

Post and Banking:

  • Collecting and distribution of internal post daily.
  • Collect registered letters
  • Keeping records of registered letters and priority parcels
  • Delivery to SARS twice a week.
  • Delivery and Collection of Docex.
  • Delivery to Masters daily.
  • Delivery and Collections from Post office
  • Pick up and drop off of documentation at clients.
  • Franking of post {normal)
  • Franking of statements (monthly).
  • Franking of money market statements (monthly)
  • Ensure banking at various banks are done 3 times a week.

Office Assistance:

  • Assist with general maintenance, including small office move
  • Assist with set up of training rooms
  • Ensure that store rooms are neatly maintained
  • Scanning
  • Filing

General:

  • Filling of copiers with paper daily.
  • Ensuring water cooler bottles are replenished daily.
  • Adhoc collection/deliveries.
  • Adhoc transport for staff

Qualifications Required:

  • Matric & Valid Driver’s License

Experience Required:

  • 1-2 years in a driver role
