Safair Operations, operating as FlySafair, has a vacancy for a Security Guard at our head office in Bonaero Park. The successful application will report to the Manager: Facilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Protect the company’s staff and property by maintaining a safe and secure environment through quality access control;
- Monitor and control access to and from the Safair facility;
- Ensuring that only authorized personnel, vehicles and materials enter, move within, and leave the facility;
- Assist with the eviction of violators from the premises;
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances;
- Reporting of any suspicious incidents and/activities;
- Patrol all facilities and perimeter;
- Assist with Ad Hoc duties as required

REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12;
- Security Grade C grading;
- Proven work experience as a security guard with contactable references;
- Aviation experience preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills;
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends and on public holidays.
