ITB Flexible Packaging Solutions (ITB) is a flexible plastic packaging manufacturer and part of the Novus Holdings Group. ITB produces an array of packaging for the FMCG and food markets. Its products include retail bags, security bags, FFS food packaging, heavy duty sacks and carrier bags which are distributed across South Africa and abroad.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Liaise with suppliers and warehouse staff.
- Capture orders onto the system
- Follow up with suppliers regarding order deliveries.
- Obtaining quotes from at least three suppliers
- Resolve queries on supplier pricing, invoice and credit note issues.
- Maintaining updated pricing sheet on consumables and maintenance stock
- Perform other ad hoc duties as and when required by management.

Educational Requirements
- Matric or equivalent
- Computer certificate (Microsoft Excel, word, and outlook)
- Diploma/Certificate in Procurement a prerequisite
Experience Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in the manufacturing environment
- At least 3 years of experience in Procurement administrative or clerical work with references
- Experience in SYSPRO is an added advantage
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to allocate suppliers for specific products.
- Basic Negotiations skills
- Good knowledge of the administrative procedure
- Basic knowledge of computer programmes
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
