Key Performance Areas:
- Installation, maintenance & troubleshooting of computing hardware & software.
- Computing desktop support and user assistance for academic, administrative and support staff as well as postgraduate students.
- Troubleshooting & fault-finding on network devices such as switches, routers, connectivity of computing equipment, Wifi wireless devices & hubs etc.
- Administer ICT procurement of computing hardware & software products from university approved suppliers.
- Administer, maintain & manage INTEL Modular server systems with Win 2012 R2 Datacenter OS.
- Manage, supervise and coordinate ICT projects in the School.
- Administer inventory system of ICT equipment in the school.
- Familiar with the University Integrated Campus Manage (ICAM) networking systems.
- Maintain at all times University ICT policies & ICT working orders of the school.

Minimum Requirements:
- Recognized tertiary IT qualification such as B.Tech degree in IT or current Microsoft Certified Professional certifications and/or CompTIA Network+ or Security+.
- Five years’ experience of ICT technical support services in a higher educational teaching environment. Experience in a University ICT institution/s will be an advantage.
- ICT problem-solving, planning, and analytical thinking skills must be properly developed to be able to maintain high standards of support services in a dynamic multi-disciplinary University teaching and research environment.
