Job Description
- Lead and manage team and routine (e.g. emergency equipment inspections) and non-routine (e.g. response to emergency situations) activities of the restricted workplace.
- Monitor, measure and timeously intervene as required in support of the identified Company and restricted workplace standards and requirements (e.g. access control, guarding, patrolling and searching).
- Provide accurate, comprehensive and timeous inputs to SES operational systems, processes, practices and documents.
- Maintain legal and governance obligations e.g. SANS, NFPA, PSIRA and Company Standards.
- Provide operational and functional support to achieve their legal and governance obligations.
- Promote and oversee adherence to the SHEQ Framework (Zero Harm).
- Demonstrate care and control of SES tools, equipment and vehicles.
- Deploy all resources (infrastructure, staff, equipment, technology, etc.) for maximum functional output, application, sustainability and continuity of SES.
- Participate and contribute in applicable audits, risk assessments and investigations.
- To identify, develop and implement operational SES projects in support of continuous improvement.
- To establish and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders in support of business continuity.

Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Security, Fire or Risk
- 3- 5 years industry experience
- PSIRA and/or fire-fighting and hazmat certificate
- BAA or First Aid Level 3
- Job-specific technical, legislative and operational experience
- Cross-functional experience e.g. Safety, Health, Environment, Risk and Quality, Human Capital and Finance
- Valid Code C1 Drivers Licence.
- Computer Literacy e.g. Microsoft Office
- Ability to coordinate and facilitate events e.g. emergency exercises
