Job Purpose
- To inter alia consult, collaborate, advise, consider, review and consolidate the relevant cluster(s) and/or group view in respect of relevant domestic/international legislation and articulate such view at the required industry associations.
- Reporting and identification of domestic regulatory developments and international trends.
Job Responsibilities
- Consult, collaborate, advise, consider, and review the business on international best practices, and aspects regarding regulatory developments.
- Support the team and central function by assisting in developing, reviewing, and giving input into policies, procedures, frameworks and tools with a specific focus on relevant risk legislation, for the benefit of the larger organisation.
- Identify, define and agree on the regulatory universe applicable for each relevant Business Unit, mitigating risks.
- Advise and support business in terms of applicability of regulation and in so doing, mitigate risk.
- Advise business of changes in regulation and identify the potential impact of these changes on the business.
- Influence the enhancement of business processes and methodologies specific to the area’
- Create and strengthen awareness of business compliance status in relation to evolving regulatory landscape
- Promote and facilitate cross Cluster engagement.

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
Preferred Qualification
- Legal qualification
Essential Certifications
- Compliance Institute of South Africa preferred
Preferred Certifications
- Compliance Institute of South Africa (CISA)
- Admitted Attorney
Minimum Experience Level
3-5 years in a senior compliance/risk/governance role
