ABOUT YOU:
We’re looking for someone with:
- A BCom degree (Qualified or partly qualified CA(SA) or CIMA)
- Three or more years working in the finance industry, specifically TB processing, expense
- and balance sheet analysis. (Experience in an inventory environment is a plus.)

And who’ll handle:
- Review and release of various journals to achieve the required accounting outcome.
- Review of routine balance sheet control procedures and identify, escalate and resolve any risks.
- Performing the more technical and challenging reconciliations and analyses where required.
- Monitoring, escalating and resolving Sub Ledger and General Ledger differences
- Ensuring the execution of routine VAT controls that highlight VAT risks.
- The key support role in IFRS compliance.
- Staff management.
- Project management for month ends and other key reporting dates to ensure deadlines are met.
- The key support role in statutory audit.
- Supporting preparations if reporting presentations.
- Supporting ad hoc projects where required.
