Job Advert Summary
To assist Artisan in performing maintenance work by moving, pushing, and carrying equipment spares and tools. Carry out any reasonable instruction and perform it in a safe manner.
Primary Duties
- Carrying tools and materials
- Clean up machines and work area when the job is completed
- Ensure good housekeeping is maintained
- Follow safe work procedures
- Assist Artisan, Workshop Assistant with job-related duties and collect spares from the store
- Do plant inspections and report any unsafe conditions to the Supervisor and/or Artisan

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or Equivalent
- Good Communication Skills
- 12 Months of experience in a similar environment
- Knowledge of the instrumentation field
- Ability to do minor instrument repairs
- Basic recognition of tools
