Reports to: GE Heads

Direct reports: None

Purpose of the role:

  • To provide administrative support to the team
  • Responsible for the general administrative coordination and resource management for the allocated team

Key Accountabilities

Operational Delivery

  • Provide general system administration; finance, compliance etc
  • Make team travel arrangements as and when required
  • Support with the implementation of programs as directed by management
  • Generate memos, emails and reports when appropriate
  • Assume responsibility for maintenance of office equipment, including computers, copy machines etc
  • Maintain office supplies by checking inventory and order items
  • Accountable for general team documentation management
  • Manage team meetings, taking and circulating minutes and tracking action items
  • Act as first point of team correspondence
  • Coordinate and plan team events
  • Work with Human Resources Business Partner to ensure functions organograms are up to date

Compliance

  • Interpret administrative and operating policies and procedures for employees
  • Set up and oversee administrative policies and procedures for team
  • Ensure appropriate systems and processes are developed and maintained to support effective and efficient day to day running of
  • the office

Qualifications & Experience

  • Essential: Grade 12
  • Preferred: Diploma

Experience

  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ Secretarial/Office Administrative experience or Equivalent
