The incumbent is responsible for administrative tasks linked primarily to the School’s core function of Health Science teaching and training.
Responsibilities:

Administration concerning the School’s Donor Programme including liaising with donors, data capture and database maintenance.

General office administration including filing (hard copy and database), assistance with course administration, venue and parking bookings

Administration associated with the arrangement, recording and archiving of selected School meetings and taking minutes of some meetings

Responsible for photocopying of tests, exams and course packs including maintaining of the school’s photocopying machines, requesting paper, toner etc from the service provider. Distribute and ordering of exam books when needed.

Any other office duty as requested by the Head of School and the Administrative officer.

Qualifications and experience:

Grade 12 (Standard 10) or equivalent qualification, minimum of three years experience in an administrative work environment
- A post-school qualification in Office Administration is desirable.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (basic), is essential. The ability to remain current with computer-based administrative systems is also essential.
- Basic knowledge of SIMS Ulwazi, REDCAP and administrative processes in the Faculty of Health Sciences would be an advantage.
