Our Manufacturing Operations teams are the people that make our products. We work in the manufacturing plants with a “Safety First, Quality Always” mindset striving for continuous improvement. We work in the local plant connected to our global manufacturing network to ensure the highest quality of raw materials, intermediates and finished products.
Primary Responsibilities
Operates automated, semi-automated and hand packaging lines in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices.
Identify quality issues; engage in determining the root cause by using problem-solving technics.
Effectively applies operational knowledge of all packaging equipment within assigned areas.
Allocates work packaging station to various members of the packing team.
Ensures the technical staff is called timeously to set up machinery.
Records cGMP data in all necessary line logbooks & equipment logbooks.
Works within the Safety and Quality requirements.
Performs in-process checks timeously and accurately.
Performs line/area cleaning and removal of waste during the batch changeover.
Reconciles bulk and packaging components usage figures on the packaging Ticket.
Packs individual batches within a pre-determined profit plan rate.
Responsible for reporting adverse experiences or events (AEs), adverse device events (ADEs), product quality complaints (PQCs) and other reportable information, customer feedback (CF), alleged counterfeiting, diversion and tampering (CDT) that you become aware of to the Designated Point of Contact (DPOC)

Qualifications/ skills
Mechanically minded.
Knowledge of problem-solving technics.
Basic menu-driven main frame Computer literacy is essential
Good leadership skills.
Ability to interact in a team setting, able to adapt to constant changes.
Self-motivated with good command of English (verbal and written)
Be able to work as a supportive cross-functional team member
Good interpersonal skills.
Able to function under pressure.
Experience required
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, packaging or related industry e.g., beverage, food etc.
Involved in the production and manufacturing of API/pharmaceutical products who do not have supervisory/managerial responsibilities.
Is skilled in own unit area
Works within established procedures
Works with a moderate degree of supervision when required to deviate from standard operating procedures
Learns team effectiveness skills within the context of own team
Fully proficient in skills in one unit area
