Key Responsibilities:
Major Responsibilities
- Drive the Area Program (AP) vehicles to wherever project activities and related activities are conducted, as directed by or in cooperation with the project coordinator
- Work harmoniously with AP staff in operating the AP activities e.g., appropriately parking and setting the unit for operations; ensuring a safe operating environment for the mobile unit; dispensing water; taking pictures, etc.
- Assist with administrative campaigns/activities or meetings, e.g., administering registers, taking minutes
- Transport project goods and staff, including visiting staff and guests.
- Liaise with the AP management in planning and coordinating the required trips
- Ensure that all vehicle trips are recorded in the logbook
- Ensure the vehicle is driven with the utmost care, in the spirit of good stewardship at all times, and consistent with the country’s laws and World Vision standards.
- Ensure appropriate use of the vehicle, including avoiding carrying unauthorized passengers and goods.
